About Me

I am a very hard worker, many of my friends tease me for being such an "overachiever." I often go above and beyond expectations, and strive to make anything I have a hand in as perfect as it can be. Because of this constant desire to do my best, I often teach myself new things, and simply love to learn (oftentimes it doesn't matter about what). I am an organized person, who dislikes being in the midst of a mess, and will try and straighten things out, even if it isn't a mess that I made. I get along well with other people, and although I like to be "in charge," I don't mind letting others guide me.

On a more personal level, along with web design and programming, I enjoy watching and participating in musicals, my favorite being "Wicked." All throughout high school, I was involved in the musicals, and at RIT I really enjoy going to see the plays at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID). I love to read - especially fantasy, although I have recently discovered that I enjoy Bill Bryson's books. I don't think I could pick just one book that's my favorite, but I really enjoy reading (and re-reading) Dan Brown's books, the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, and Earth's Children Series, by Jean Auel. I also enjoy watching movies, especially renditions of books I have read. I'm always disapointed, but I love to compare and critique! One of my most recent favorites is Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, mostly because now that I've taken 3D Modeling and Animation, I can really appreciate how much work went into it! I also enjoy the Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean triologies. Since I was in eighth grade, I have been riding horses, both english and western. I have never owned a horse, although it is a goal of mine! I competed in a couple of shows over about three summers, but nothing too serious, I just love to ride!
