This video was created for my 3D Modeling and Animation class. It was my first experience working in 3D space, and with Maya. I was one of very few people that chose to model an actual person (as opposed to a robot or blob-man), and now that I've been through it, I understand why there was so few of us! This project was incredibly time consuming, but in the end, I think that my model ended up good. The other element required for this project was a walk-cycle and some other movement. I chose to have her enter the stage on a swing, swing for a little bit (like in the song that this was inspired by), and then walk to the front of the stage and bow. I had a lot of fun in this class, and it gave me a ton of respect and admiration for all of those 3D modelers out there!
